A registration is not needed for a foreign citizen staying in Russia for less than 7 business days. If the period of stay in the RF is eight days or more, a registration is mandatory.
Within 7 business days of arrival at the place of stay, a foreign citizen is to submit the documents for migration registration to the local offices of the MIA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) of Russia or an MFC (multifunctional center). If a foreign citizen is staying at a hotel, he/she must register there within the day following the day of arrival.
If necessary, our company will take care about the registration of a foreigner arriving by our invitation. All you have to do is to provide us with your migration card and international passport (or a photocopy of all filled in pages of the passport) within 7 business days.
Registration of foreign citizens arriving by all types of invitations is arranged at extra charge.
